National Tennis Ratings Program (NTRP)

NTRP

In USTA League Tennis, you compete against others at your own skill level because teams are formed based on the National Tennis Ratings Program (NTRP). That means if you're a NTRP 3.0 player, you'll be part of 3.0 team, facing 3.0 opponents.

So, it doesn't matter whether you're a beginner, a tad erratic with the racquet, or a season veteran, who's already enjoyed many matches. And, remember, USTA League Tennis welcomes everyone. Wheelchair players can compete with and against anyone, not just other wheelchair players.

The primary goal of NTRP is to help all tennis players enjoy the game by providing a method of classifying skill levels for more compatible matches, group lessons, league play, tournaments and other programs.
