Hall of Fame Background

The USTA Missouri Valley Hall of Fame was founded in 1986. In 1999, the USTA Heart of America District started a District Hall of Fame. The HOA Hall of Fame will be used as a springboard to nominate selections for the USTA-MV Hall of Fame.

In 1999, the HOA selected the current members of the USTA-MV Hall of Fame who live or have lived within the District boundaries as they now exist to be the initial inductees. They are: Ed Doane, Tustin, CA; Marvin Richmond, KCMO; Lucile Davidson, Independence, MO; Len & Nora Prosser, Merriam, KS; Keedy Campbell, KCMO; Hal Surface, KCMO.
