Anyone may make a nomination to the USTA/Heart of America District Hall of Fame by providing the selection committee with ample biographical information about the nominee who may be living or deceased. The committee, following the USTA-MV guidelines, will annually select from zero (0) to five (5) inductees using the following criteria:

1. USTA Heart of America resident for five or more years

2. Players must have participated in numerous Heart of America, Missouri Valley and/or National Championships, gaining a ranking high enough to be considered an outstanding player

3. Others who have made a substantial contribution to tennis as a: a) director of tournaments, clinics, recreational programs, or other tennis activities for the general public (e.g. promoter or manufacturer); b) coach; c) teaching professional; d) umpire; e) administrator of the game.

4. High standards of sportsmanship & character.

All information should be supplied by the nominator.
