Tennis Industry Magazine recognized the Oklahoma City Tennis Center as the Municipal Tennis Facility of the Year, and Scott Hanover as the Grassroots Champion of the Year in this year's Champions of Tennis issue.
The Oklahoma City Tennis Center was recognized for completing its addition of six indoor courts and youth courts in the past 18 months.
Hanover was recognized for his desire to grow the game of tennis through grassroots program. At the Plaza Tennis Center, where Hanover is the Director of Tennis, he hosts a myriad of programs for all skill and age levels in an effort to introduce tennis to as many people as possible.
